David Nussbaum is a social psychologist working at the intersection of research and media. He is driven by the mission to bring behavioral science to the general public in an engaging and accurate way, highlighting the voices of the researchers at the front lines as they share their findings with the world.
Dave got his Ph.D. in Social Psychology at Stanford in 2008 and has been teaching at the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago for close to two decades. When he’s not teaching, Dave collaborates with psychologists and other behavioral scientists to bring their research to the public via books, podcasts, and op-eds, striving to build a community that helps scientists collectively engage with the public.
Dave grew up in Vancouver (go Canucks!) and has lived in Chicago since 2009 with his wife, two kids, and their cat, Biscotti.
